Yeah, thats us. Lots of pride, the odd bit of passion - but not much in the way of success, to be honest.
THE CHARLTON ATHLETIC ROLL OF HONOUR
1947: We won the FA Cup. UP THE ADDICKS!
1990: We nearly won a seat on the local council. YAY!
One trophy, and nearly one seat on the chuffing council - in more than a hundred years. Is it any wonder that we are all constantly in and out of therapy?
Was an Addicks target on view at the Ricoh on Friday?
The Addicks tried to sign Dagenham & Redbridge winger Jodi Jones twice during the 2015/16 season.
Charlton came close to signing Jones in the summer window, and made another move for him in the January window.
Eventually, Jones signed for Coventry on an emergency loan deal last March, and completed a permanent four-year deal in the summer of 2016.
Now 19-years-old, Jones gave Chris Solly a difficult afternoon at the Ricoh on Friday.
Though he is unlikely to be on big money at the Ricoh, Coventry will look to reduce costs after their relegation to League 2, and might consider offers for Jones.
Also, the physicality of League 2 may not suit Jones' style.
Karl Robinson wants to recruit players early, and young up-and-coming players will figure high on his wanted list.
Perhaps it could be a case of third time lucky for the Addicks if they make another move for Jones.
