BUSY TWO WEEKS AHEAD

19-Jun 03:59, by Ketts

Behind the scenes, things should start gathering pace this week.

Squad building should start gathering‎ pace now. Karl Robinson is back from his holiday in Puerto Banus, so there should be some arrivals this week.†

The first player through the doors could arrive as early as Monday.‎

‎Long term injury victim, Ahmed Kashi, is due to return to the club in July. Kashi's comeback will seem like a new signing as Robinson mentioned in his interview with the club site:

"Speaking with the players and fans since I arrived, Iíve got an understanding of what a loss it has been not having Ahmed in the building.†

"Iíve been told things went well in Qatar and I look forward to seeing him in Ireland.†

"His talent is unquestionable and a fully fit Ahmed Kashi could be like a new signing for us."

The league fixtures for the 2017/18 season will be released at 9.00am on Wednesday.

The players return to start their pre-season programme next week, and the games in Ireland start in three weeks time.

Robinson will be hoping he has the nucleus of his squad together by the time the Irish games kick-off.†‎

So, much to do in the next couple of weeks. It should be an interesting time for Addicks fans.
