LATIC BE

11-Sep 23:46, by Ketts

Charlton face their toughest home game of the season on Tuesday evening.

Charlton face a tough test against promotion favourites‎ Wigan at The Valley on Tuesday evening.

The Latics lost 1-0 at Shrewsbury on Saturday, a result that sent the Shrews to the top of the table.‎

The Addicks won their third home match of the season against Southend on Saturday, and turning The Valley into a fortress will be key to their promotion bid.

Karl Robinson will want to name an unchanged team, but will be cautious with Chris Solly and Ahmed Kashi.

Both have had long term injuries, and the manager will want to protect them but unless they picked up a niggle on Saturday, they will probably start.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant picked up a groin strain at Oldham, but could be fit enough to be on the bench. ‎

‎Robinson may name this team:

Amos; Solly, Bauer, Pearce, Dasilva; Kashi, Forster-Caskey, Fosu, Clarke, Holmes: Magennis.

Subs: Phillips, Konsa, Sarr, Jackson, Aribo, Ahearne-Grant, Dodoo. ‎

‎The referee will be Charles Breakspear from Surrey.

It will be a tough game, but if they can keep their winning run going,‎ Charlton's confidence will soar.
