Our readers share their disappointment.

After one of my most depressing visits to The Valley, and I've had many,I hear all about the covering of full backs but why oh why was Patrick not playing alongside Konsa?

Without him or Pearce we lack experience and organisation at the back.‎

Whilst Lennon has filled a big gap for us he should not in my humble opinion be first choice.

I will get over it as usual ‎

The lack of discipline was the downfall of this avoidable loss that has now again questioned, 'are we really ready to leave League One'. Robinson in his eagerness to strengthen his team has forgotten one main additive, his defence.

Lennon who is really a weak link at the back must take some of the blame for us being torn apart in the last minutes of the game. His frailty was exposed far too many times by not being in command.

Any good manager would have spotted the weakness in their host and rest assured the second half did just that. Be it late in the game that the back finally caved in, it was destined to happen.

Avoidable, it certainly was. Again as in many games before, it is very simple. Don't take your chances when they are presented, then pay the consequence. In short, we got what we deserved.

Typical Charlton, we never make it easy for ourselves. Three wins on the spin. Home advantage going for us in this fixture, and we mess it up by not showing the one main ingredients, discipline.

We are now approaching the last third of the season with some tough games in the run up to remain contenders. On the showing produced in the last game, I'm far from convinced that we have the staying power to be included in the shake up.

Robinson and his team, good luck, you will need it.‎
